Meet the Team

At Eastridge Suites, being greeted by name and with a smile is just part of the charm of living here. Our caregivers make your needs a priority and it shows in everything they do.

Meet Our Caregivers: Well Beyond Ordinary

We believe that caring attitudes and relationship-building contribute to the overall well-being and health of our residents. We work with you and your loved ones to create the environment you desire and provide the care you need. We listen, understand, and respond with the dedication that makes Eastridge Suites a name you can trust.

Our trained caregivers are available 24 hours a day to deliver personalized care at every touchpoint. We offer on-site supervision, support, resources and assistance, alleviating the worry and concern that often accompanies living alone. Go ahead and enjoy a day on the golf course and leave the cooking, cleaning, and worry to us.

Our dedicated team is the backbone of our care community, leading with their hearts and catering to our residents’ every request and every need. Whether it’s handing out hors d’oeuvres or knitting scarves with residents, our caregivers bring their unique personalities to the Eastridge Suites community, creating an all-around charming experience.

From joining in a competitive game of trivia on Tuesdays to just offering a listening ear, we go the extra mile to make a difference and create memorable experiences. Our philosophy of personalized care and assistance makes all the difference when it comes to making – and keeping – our residents fulfilled and happy.

Marina Robinson, LPN

Resident Services Director

Through hard work and determination, Marena has had the opportunity to pursue her dreams. In 2010, Marena began her career in healthcare by volunteering with Acadian Ambulance through the Vermilion Explorer Group. In 2014, she continued her education by attending EMT school. After graduation, Marena began to consider a career in nursing. Then, after the 2016 flood and while working multiple jobs, she decided to enroll in nursing school.

Growing up in Acadiana, Marena has always had a passion for the French language and Cajun culture. In fact, at age 14, she earned a scholarship to Universite de Sainte Anne in Nova Scotia, Canada where she took part in the school’s French Immersion program. From the time Marena was born, her paternal grandparents spoke French to her and ever since then it has remained an important part of her life and even comes in handy on the job!
Marena is a mother to two girls. One of her primary hobbies is oil painting. She also enjoys gardening and cooking, as well as fishing, hunting and other outdoor activities.
