One of the most distinguishing features of the Eastridge Suites lifestyle continues to be the engaging, not-so-run-of-the-mill activities we offer residents. And this is especially true when it comes to our popular Senior Fit exercise activities.

The Senior Fit program offers a wide variety of exercise activities for seniors at every stage of life to enjoy. Whether you’re into spiritual yoga poses and deep breathing or more into strengthening and stretch, we have something to please everyone. Often times, we’re engaging in physical, therapeutic exercises – such as playing mini golf in the dining room or bowling down the hallway – without even knowing it.

Spending too much time indoors or not enough time being physically active is never a good thing. The Senior Fit program aims to improve overall well-being and positivity by taking advantage of both indoor and outdoor spaces to encourage mobility among residents.

Our mentality is simple: regardless of what stage of life you’re in, staying mobile is one of the most important factors in leading a healthy lifestyle. We motivate residents to move in a variety of ways, whether it’s with light exercises like lifting hand weights and walking laps around the community or just staying active by self-ambulating in a wheelchair.
